Hi there,
I'm Supreet.
SUPREET KAUR, MHC-LP
ONE OF THE FIRST STEPS TOWARDS HEALING IS BEING SEEN AND HEARD AUTHENTICALLY.
My name is Supreet Kaur, and I have completed my Bachelor's Degree from Queens College in
Psychology and a Master’s Degree in School Counseling From Alfred University. I’m currently
pursuing my Advanced Certificate in Mental Health Counseling.

I was born and raised in New York. As a South Asian American and a child of Indian
immigrants, I know there is a stigma around going to therapy, which takes courage. My goal is
to change that perspective among many cultures. I’m invested in working with people from
different cultural backgrounds and ethnicities.
I have over five years of experience working with school-aged children, adolescents, adults, and
couples. I use psychoanalysis which helps my clients become more observant of their behavior, a
crucial component to deeper understanding and healing. In addition, I also use cognitive
behavioral therapy and solution-focused therapy. I want my clients to understand better how to
manage and foster relationships that prevent them from living authentically.

I like to help my clients develop coping skills and realize their resilience to achieve their desired
goals in therapy. Therapy will always be a supportive space to allow you to access your strengths and freely express yourself.
As a Mental Health therapist, I like to connect with people from all walks of life and work
through life’s obstacles. If you’re seeking extra support through difficulties you are facing, have
the desire to break out of long-established patterns that you have outgrown, or looking for a
collaborator in working towards growth, I look forward to being a part of your journey. I will
both support and challenge you along the way.

When I’m not working, I love to travel the world and explore new coffee shops and restaurants.
