"SOMETIMES THE BRAVEST AND MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU CAN DO IS JUST SHOW UP." - BRENÉ BROWN

Selecting a therapist can be an emotional taxing experience but here you are “showing up” and taking the first steps to working on your mental health. So, congratulations on taking the huge step in looking for a provider.

As a therapist I’m here to cultivate and promote a safe space that is nonjudgmental, welcoming, supportive, and compassionate. I promise you that you are not alone, and we are in this together and I’m here to offer support and comfort to all my clients. The therapeutic relationship is critical in building a warm and safe environment so that a client can feel comfortable and heard. So, during the early stages of treatment that’s what would be our focus getting to know you and what is it that bring you through my virtual door.

As we work together we will identify goal to buildup and strengthen; improve your communication; learn new coping skills; and create changes. I will support you through this path so that you can learn to navigate daily stressors more effectively and successfully, and improve your overall mental health.
My approach is tailored to your specific needs, as you are unique individual and so you deserve customized approach to your treatment. I practice using an eclectic and integrative approach, drawing on many evidence-based psychotherapies. Some of the modalities that I use in session are: Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Strengths-Based Practice, Person Centered Therapy (PCT), and Mindfulness Techniques.

I am a graduate from the Fordham University School of Social Work, and earned a Bachelor of Science Arts in Criminal Justice and a certificate in Conflict Resolution from CUNY John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
