Hi there,
I'm Gabriella.
GABRIELLA GUERRA, MSW CLINICAL RESIDENT
MY GOAL IS TO CREATE A SAFE AND NON-JUDGMENTAL SPACE WHERE CLIENTS CAN EXPLORE THEIR THOUGHTS AND EMOTIONS.
Seeing first-hand the profound effects trauma can have on an individual's psychological well-being motivated me to pursue further training in therapy. I strongly believe in the power of therapy to help individuals overcome their challenges and reclaim their lives. My goal is to create a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts and emotions and work toward healing and personal growth in their current season of life.

In the years since I earned my degree, I have provided support and guidance to families, children, domestic violence survivors, child abuse survivors, crime victims, and trauma survivors. With over six years of advocacy experience, I have been able to help clients understand their rights and options so that they can make informed decisions about their own well-being. I have provided emotional support, helping individuals navigate the complex emotions that often accompany traumatic experiences.

As a graduate student pursuing my Master's in Social Work with a focus on clinical work, I am dedicated and compassionate about mental health. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from John Jay College, where I developed a deep understanding of the challenges of the legal system and its impact on individuals.
